"Musical Menu's" - a taste of musical and culinary greatness

Coming to Clarke University on April 12th and 13th is the biggest musical event of the year: "Musical Menu's". Arranged by Assistant Professor of Music Keisy Peyerl Xavier the evening is promised to be unparalleled.



Starting at 6pm, a 3-course dinner by the Clarke Dining Hall will be served.


  • Salad: Greens | Strawberries | Toasted Almonds | Vidalia Onion | Creamy Honey Lemon Vinaigrette  

  • Entrée: Filet Mignon | Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes | Asparagus | Port Wine Cherry Demi-Glace 

  • Vegetarian Option: Eggplant and Mascarpone Cannelloni | Tomato Basil Linguini | Asparagus 

  • Dessert: Lemon Tart | Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse | Triple Berry Coulis


Christina Bartels, Professor of Communications, will lead through the evening as the host. While already being serenaded at the dinner, the guests will be able to take a seat in the Music Jansen Hall and experience the talent of the musical department at Clarke University.


The two acts are filled with songs reaching from broadway to the biggest film-songs, giving everybody the experience of a lifetime. Performances include "Pure Imagination" from Wonka, a choir performance of "Found/Tonight" from Dear Evan Hansen and Hamilton or a duet "The Other Side" from The Greatest Showman.
