With finals fast approaching and the fall semester coming to a close, students were welcomed with an event of celebration and reprieve.

December 3rd, 2025 brought students of the Clarke Community together to celebrate the cherished annual event that is the Clarke University Christmas Dinner. The evening opened with a warm welcome from acting president, Dr. Yvonne Zimmerman, who reflected on the poignance of the annual dinner that has provided a way for peers to come together and celebrate for decades; she placed an emphasis on the importance of community and togetherness.
As students were seated, they were then treated to musical selections from Clarke Melos and the Collegiate singers, who collectively filled the hall with holiday cheer through their renditions of festive favourites.
As dinner was served, the hall fell into conversations between classmates amidst the decorated tabletops adorned with candlelight’s and holiday chocolates. This was then followed by the annual prize giveaways. Students from freshman year to graduate level collected gifts as they were met with cheers and applause from their peers.
The evening concluded in true holiday fashion with a collective singing of seasonal classics “Deck the Halls” and “We wish you a Merry Christmas.” This year’s Christmas Dinner not only continued a cherished tradition at Clarke University but also allowed students a much-needed moment of celebration and reprieve as they prepare for upcoming finals next week and the end to the fall semester.
