The first market is set to be tomorrow, May 3rd and will run from 7:00 a.m. to around 12:00 p.m. rain or shine. The list of vendors has been released for this upcoming Saturday with over twenty different options for food, the arts, music, and more. Some of the biggest hits at past markets in Dubuque have been Bob & Lou’s, Clara Joyce Flowers LLC, Delaney’s Ice Cream, The Hangry Hobo, and more. One of the biggest concerns about heading to downtown Dubuque for any event is the parking. Luckily, the area of the farmers market is surrounded by different meter parking options and the Central Avenue parking ramp which is free during market hours. There are also different options for bike storage and options for bus shuttles down to the market.

Not only are there options to shop, eat, and enjoy the Farmers Market, but there is also volunteer opportunities for students. There are different options for placement including set up, take down, and money booth management. If you would like to get involved, you can also view the Dubuque Farmers Market website. This is the perfect opportunity to take a break from finals studying and hit the market with some of your friends. Whether you are listening to local music, eating different cuisines, doing some shopping, or just taking a walk, the Farmers Market has everything you could need.
