Chrissy Bartels' Mackin-Mailander Lecture
Clarke University has hosted the Mackin-Mailander Lectures since 1997 after receiving gifts from two alumni, Mary Mackin ’34 and Verna Slattery-Mailander ’20. The yearly series of lectures consists of an outside speaker, a faculty lecture, and an alumni lecture. Frankenstein Slept Here: The New Play by Clarke Cast and Crew
This past weekend, Clarke’s student-run theater organization, Clarke Cast and Crew, performed their spring play, Frankenstein Slept here by Tim Kelly. Despite the Clarke sustainability policy being that they “address the organization’s environmental, social and economic impacts”, the dining hall garbage cans fill up more and more each meal.
